
Dupree Man and Woman Indicted for Conspiracy to Distribute

United States Attorney Brendan V. Johnson announced that a Dupree man and woman have been indicted by a federal grand jury for Conspiracy to Distribute and Possess with Intent to Distribute a Controlled Substance.
Jennifer Brown Wolf, aka Jennifer Clown, age 29, and Leland Brown Wolf, age 40, were indicted by a federal grand jury on April 12, 2011. They appeared before United States Magistrate Judge Mark A. Moreno on April 21, 2011, and pled not guilty to the indictment. The maximum penalty upon conviction is 20 years in custody, a $250,000 fine, or both; three years of supervised release; and a $100 Special Assessment. Restitution may also be ordered. The charges are merely accusations, and they are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
The investigation is being conducted by Northern Plains Safe Trails Drug Task Force. Assistant United States Attorney Jay Miller is prosecuting the case. Jennifer Brown Wolf and Leland Brown Wolf were remanded to the custody of the United States Marshal.
